  1. Start by rinsing your bowl with hot water, then wipe it dry with a clean cloth following the traditional tea ceremony ritual.
  2. Place a culinary sieve over your bowl.
  3. Add 1 to 2 scoops of matcha powder, depending on your desired quantity (make sure to break any clumps).
  4. Boil about 30cl of water.
  5. Remove the kettle lid and let it cool for approximately two minutes.
  6. Pour the boiled water into the bowl with your matcha preparation. Whisk the matcha in a W or M motion in your chawan (tea bowl). Repeat these motions until a vibrant green foam forms on the surface of your tea.
  7. Finally, all that’s left is to serve and savor your matcha tea.
